[Guess who got dragged here against her will (though not entirely; if she truly, 100% didn't want to come... she wouldn't have) and it looks like it.

So there's Sei. In the corner, arms folded loosely over her stomach in that way she has of being completely aloof from everyone else, and she's watching.

Because that's what she does.

She watches.

And, despite the fact you never see her normally sticking out, she sure as hell rocks a white zoot suit.]

Ever get tired of just dangling your feet in the water, ze?

[Asks the blonde wearing far too little as she leans against the wall next to Sei.]

Sometimes you just gotta dive in and hope you know how to swim.

[Marisa gets one (1) cursory, full looking over before Sei resumes watching the crowd. Yep. Still attractive. Still doesn't do anything about it.]

I know how to swim, being on the Yamayurikai taught me that. But I don't have to here, why should I?

'Sides, not too many people enjoy sharks in the pool.

[She tilts her head] If I really wanted to be out there, I'd be out there. But I don't, so I'm here.

[Marisa reaches out and runs her fingers down Sei's tie before wrapping it lightly about them.]

Think I can get you out there for a bit?

[Well, it's enough of a distraction to get her to look down and follow Marisa's hand, before she looks over at the shorter girl]

I suppose if I have a hard time saying no to cute girls, then that would be the answer, hm? [Lying. She could. She just doesn't want to.]

Yes, it is...

[Tugging lightly on the tie, Marisa starts to back toward the dance floor.]

[sei_what]

[Sei doesn't say anything, nor does she resist. Usually she's the one dragging people around places. Sort of odd to be on the other side of it.

But then, she's also not used to people flirting back when she flirts. All sorts of new things for Rosa Gigantea at this school. Though she does get the strange feeling she might end up in trouble for this]

[That depends on who would be upset... Since Marisa's not allowed to let anyone know she has a girlfriend, she needs to at least act like she doesn't have one. Which means flirting and having fun.

...and she needs to take her mind off of the fact that she can't spend the time with her girlfriend. Sei makes a good distraction.]

You do know how to dance, right?

[Despite the misgiving, she gives a laugh. Even if people will notice her more and she can't use her social status to intimidate them away, this promises to be fun] Depends on the type of dancing you want. [Grin; she's actually trained in formal dancing] But I think I can keep tempo well enough.

Whatever fits with the music, ze. [wink] You're taller, so you lead. If you can~

Why does that sound like a challenge? [Oh look. Dance floor. At least there's no hesitance, or, it seems, holding back as she steps up to, and rather firmly against, her dance partner]

As amusing as it would be to see the shorter one lead.

Mm. [A low sound in the back of her throat at that contact. Marisa certainly doesn't seem adverse to it as her hands alight upon Sei's arms.]

It may just be one. Do be careful of the wings...

I can do that. [And with that, she takes the lead, one hand easily finding its place on the small of Marisa's back beneath the wings, and she starts moving.

It's almost amusing that you can tell her formal training by her every so often glancing in the direction of where she's moving, almost as though to step there next in that wonderful traditional ballroom way]

[That's bare skin, Sei. Not that Marisa's complaining. She falls in step and giggles a little as she watches the little nuances of the other.]
