[ Riku straightens from behind his bed and looks over to the door. ]

It's open.

Yeah. I'm not that good at packing.

[ sheepish shrug. then he looks at Ven. ]

I wanted to see if you were alright, too.

[curepotion]

[ Riku looks at him with an earnest gaze, looking sincerely concerned about him. ]

I ... I'm your friend, yeah? We're mates. If you don't want to tell me, that's fine--but you sounded a little off.

You're not obvious. [ anyone else would've missed it, Riku'd like to say, but he doesn't want to show how attached to Ven he's become. he looks down and away with a small smile. ]

I want you to worry me. That's what I do to you.

Mm. You're welcome.

[ Riku starts folding a few clothes, though glances up to make sure he's just not having too much trouble. ]

[ --he pauses in folding to watch Ven work magic, immediately wondering why he hadn't figured that out. ]

... I didn't even think of that.

... forgot everything?

[ thinking logically, Riku pauses. ]

Well... no. You are the person you are because of what happens to you. If you didn't remember what happens to you, how can you know who you are?

But... I think it'd leave an impression. Nothing's ever really forgotten.

I don't know. I haven't heard about anyone who actually remembered who they were after amnesia.

[ he glances over at Ven. ]
