SUMMARY: Jennifer is searching for a perfect piece of art for someone. Someone who she'll go to great lengths not to mention.
The streets of the little town were quiet and genteel, as she imagined many small towns in France were. Jennifer headed for the address on her paper, the name of an antique store that a local had given her written in dark ink on a scrap of paper. On the other side was a list of things she was looking for. Mostly she was just looking for a particular piece of art. Not for herself, but for Junho, something to put on his walls. She had the idea after he left her home from their previous date, her home full of pretty things on the wall. Plus, something warm was budding inside for the man who had so quickly become part of her life.
Dressed casually for her, Jennifer walked down the street in the lavender sun dress and white sweater, finding the antique shop more quickly than she thought she would. Pleased, she managed to ask for paintings in French, and headed to the back of the store where stacks of them sat, just waiting to be gone through. Pleased again, she began sifting through them, searching for something special.
