Éclair tucked her hair behind her ear as she entered the Underground. She quickly grabbed a seat, not wanting to walk farther than absolutely necessary in her ridiculous heels. Setting her handbag in front of her, she quickly put on one extra coat of lipstick, then placed the bag in her lap, sitting up with perfect posture. Her opera glasses were carefully stowed away in the bag, and she hesitated before leaving them as they were.

Looking around, she spotted a few lone people that looked as if they might have been the boy she had been talking to. Assuming that he'd recognize her, she made no move to drawn attention to herself, instead pulling out her cellphone as she waited for him to approach her.

Viper approached the other table, reaching up to push the hood of his jacket back as his only concession to formality, and taking a seat in front of the woman, examining her quietly.

"It doesn't seem like the school day has been over long for you," he commented, somewhat wryly, "No time to stop by your dorm after the clubs? Your feet must be sore."

His face didn't give away any of his somewhat disdainful amusement, however; it remained set in a firm frown, eyes empty and somewhat dead.

"Ah, Monsieur. Bonjour." She sent off one last text and unceremoniously dropped the phone into her handbag. "First of all, club. Singular. Second, I had to stay behind to answer a question, as president, so I decided I might as well come here straightaway. Third, I've been walking in high heels since I was old enough to get my first pair. It hardly bothers me anymore."

Okay, so it was a slight exaggeration. Not as if the boy had to know.

"So, you requested money from me in order to keep you silent about the rumor. You know, I could classify this as blackmail," she added on inconsequentially, resting her cheek in her palm as she glanced over at the boy. "My father wouldn't hesitate to have you expelled."

"Actually, while I admit I wouldn't have any problems spreading any rumors if they served my purposes, I requested money from you to obtain my help, which really can't be classified as blackmail, and I have textual evidence to back me up on this," he replied, holding a hand up to wave a waiter over, and then returning it to the table, slouching a little, out of habit.

He typically didn't indulge the Underground with his money, preferring to stick to the free meals provided by the school, but he'd been waiting for a while, and a lemonade sounded appealing, "If you've called me out to threaten me, I'm afraid you're wasting your time."

The waiter arrived hesitantly, evidently sensing an argument, and Viper turned to him, "Limonade, s'il vous plaît."
