"She?"

Alyss circles around Adela, her hand dragging quietly behind her on the chair until she stops diagonal to her. With a slightly quizzical look, she leans back, hands popping her up from the table behind her.

"Who's she? If I may ask," she amends.

The book was immediately snapped shut and she made a slight noise at Alyss, one of her eyes twitching when she met the other girl's gaze, "It's none of your business."

"Fine, fine. You don't need to be so defensive, you know. I don't intend to bite your head off, despite your rudeness in the past." She 'tch'es, leaning forward a bit at her last sentence. She eyes the book, however.

"A cookbook?"

Adela pulled the book to her chest then, breaking eye contact and closing her eyes as she curled up more in the chair, "Why does it matter?"

"It doesn't. I was simply questioning why you have a cookbook when people of your grade should be studying." She narrows her eyes at Adela - why is she getting so defensive? It certainly wasn't helping her case.

"I studied enough today."

"Alright. Then why are you getting so riled up over a cookbook? It certainly isn't helping your case." She scoffs briefly, looking Adela up and down with a scornful eye.

"There's no case to help," Adela hissed, making to get to her feet and walk away. So much for having some private time in the lounge, she'd be better off in her damn room at this rate.

"What in the bloody hell is your problem, Adela?" She says as Adela storms away. Sigh, what a troublesome student.

"Why the fuck is it any of your business?" She questioned back, stopping to face the other girl.

"It becomes my business when you lose your head over a book full of recipes!" She glares softly at the underclassman that she'd grown a bit fond of over the years.

"That's crap, it's got nothing to do with you."

"I never said it did! Are you listening to anything I'm saying at all?"

"Yes, I am! Whether or not I 'lose my head' over a damn cook book is none of your business!" She growled out, twitching at the upperclassman in front of her.

"Oh, fine, be prattish! I'm sorry I care, and I'll be leaving now." She hisses out, clutching the hem of her uniform with one hand while she turns on her heel and begins to walk away, frustrated.

Finally. Adela walked back over to the chair she was in before and curled up, looking around the room briefly to see if anyone else was going to bug her. Once satisfied, she went back to that mille-feuille recipe and started looking over the ingredients again.
