"Can't believe who likes what sort of thing?" came the question from behind. A familiar voice, too. And it didn't sound so pleased.

"What are you doing down here? Shouldn't you be studying?"

She tensed at the voice before snapping the book shut and holding it to her chest, glancing over her shoulder at the other girl with a frown, "I studied enough today."

She was just going to ignore the first question for the moment.

"Then I'm certain you won't mind cleaning up instead of wasting your time down here," Patchouli huffed. "And just what are you reading, anyways? Is that one of my books?"

"I already cleaned the bathroom and my part of the room's clean," Adela countered, sinking in the chair a little as a pink flush went across her face, "And no, it isn't. I got it from the library."

"... It's a cook book," Patchouli said flatly upon peering at the cover. Well that was... interesting.

"What are you intending to make?"

"... Mille-feuille."

... She was honestly surprised at that. "Seriously? You're making sweets?"

"So what?" She asked, curling up even more in the chair. Great, her face was hot, that meant she was blushing didn't it.

"You're making it for someone else."

[piercingshadow]

Damn it. Why did Patchouli have to be right!? She got more tense but came up with a response almost immediately, "No. That's not it."

"Well it's none of my business either way, I suppose. Just try not to ruin the kitchen."

[piercingshadow]

"I'd have to use it again anyway. No sense in ruining it."

"Accidents happen."

[piercingshadow]

"There's no way I'm ruining the damn kitchen. I need it."

Patchouli gave the sort of look she often gave the girl. "Accidents still happen. That's not really in your power, some of the time."

"Voi..." One of her mis-matched eyes twitched and Adela got to her feet, shooting Patchouli a rather vicious glare, "How many times do I have to fucking tell you that I'm not going to ruin the goddamn kitchen? What makes you think I'm going to ruin it anyway!?"
