So I can't decide what's worse, spending a good month in Iowa of all the shitty states, or school starting up again.
[She sighs. She's sitting at her desk in her bedroom, tugging distractedly at her beanie.]
Either way, I didn't die of boredom... Just a lot of lecturing and door-slamming and they said if I end up in the hospital again then I'm in deep shit, but you can't really prevent me from being sick. ...kinda a lose-lose if I actually end up with, like, pneumonia or some shit like that.
That's probably not even what they mean, but that's basically what they're saying.
[Suki slumps in her chair.] Winter break can't come by fast enough. Or my birthday.
