['sup, guys. when the video flickers on, you get a cheerful image of a brown-haired boy brandishing a large pair of gardening shears. he's putting them down now. the backdrop is both sunny and green -- there is another park bench behind the one where he is currently seated. a bit of a rueful grin.]
Ah, the weather's been nice recently, hasn't it? Even if Ecruteak is a little on the dreary side; but then again, after Goldenrod, purple would seem dreary. [a bit of a glance off-screen. in the background, a jumpluff floats past, making soft singing noises.] Though admittedly, despite the cheer and sun, it's a little hard to take advantage of it all and get some much-needed gardening done when said garden refuses to stay still.
[this is said without much complaint, however. and judging by his genial expression and the multitude of leaves still stuck in his hair, that garden probably ended up staying still at some point in time or another.]
On another note-- [and here, he shuffles a little, a bit of an excited gleam in his eyes. holding up a magazine, he flips through it idly] I finally got around to picking up a copy of the magazines they sell down at the mart. Did you know that the horoscopes here feature scantily-clad Pokemon? [a bit of a chuckle, here] But then again, Pokemon here generally go without clothing on a daily basis, so I'd say they're far more dressed than usual. The fig leaves for Gemin- no, sorry, the Plumini were a nice touch.
That being said, if anyone would like their horoscopes for this week and the next, I wouldn't mind giving it. [a hum] I'll need your birthdate, or at least a birth month, in that case; in Earth months, please, unless you want to get creative -- though if you're not sure about either of them, I wouldn't mind doing some profiling. I'm of a belief that astrology can be fairly universal.
[a bit of a pause, here. have a thoughtful smile--] I should probably also mention that these horoscopes are a little different than you usual.
Unless, of course, your horoscopes come in shades of Flaafies, Rapidarius and Skorupio.
