CONCERT!
After getting some sleep I should be able to recount last night's events ^.~
The way to Tokyo Dome was really stressful, since our bad Karma had decided to work against us and the HUGE thunderstorm with extremely much rain had its center over Tokyo Dome. No kidding. Thus the JR stopped, after some thinking we switched to the metro and had to take a taxi for the last part of the way. My nerves, I tell you, it was horrible! But we made it in time, in the pouring rain, wet to the bone even though we'd carried umbrellas. (Which is also the reason I took no pictures outside.)
We lined up for the goods (still pouring rain and getting even wetter although we thought it was impossible) and fortunately it didn't take as long, as expected.
Finally in the Dome we went to our seats, First Stands, Row 11. NICE! Pretty close to the boats they went around with ^o^
The concert went by within the blink of an eye, since it was my first concert I didn't know where to look first and was pretty much overwhelmed. The stage setting as amazing, a pirate ship/island thingy, according to the concert title, IMPRESSIVE! And what they did with the lights, SO awesome, really!
There were of course many songs from the new album, the solos were impressive (Ueda's voice killed me, SO beautiful! but it took me a while to get used to Kame*s.. hair-do) and some older songs. During Lips they had the microphone-"showers" again and fought with the steam that was getting out of them, so hilarious! The boys were really active and seemed happy and full of energy even though it was the 4th concert in a row.
I can't really remember the song line up, but there are much better concert reports around, so you might want to check them out, if you are interested. There are so many fragments of memories in my head, I can't yet catch them, sorry ;)
The whole Dome went wild when the surprise guest was revealed: YamaPi! Even though everyone was sitting during the MC, everyone got up within seconds, waving and screaming, so much love ^o^ During the encore he came back on stage too and drove around on one of the boats with Jin! So happy to see them get along well!!
We had two encores, and then. It was over ^^ Some more lining up for goods since the towels my friends wanted had been sold out before the concert but had been restocked by now.
What a day. Will get the DVD for sure, just to appreciate the effort everyone put into this some more ^-^
