Note: What Ino was referring to in her conversation with Sasuke is the fact that shadowgirls/boys were originally created when people drugged up on Fecundity10 had sex with corpses. Don't ask me how the gestation and birthing process went, Mr. Noon conveniently skipped over that part.
In which Ino is really not kidding about that threat.
(
As they had both gone through the side effects of getting Vurt in their blood, Naruto and Sasuke knew that it was going to affect Sakura eventually too. )

Loved Ino's comment about Shikamaru (SO TRUE), and the conversation between Sasuke and Ino and the whole relationship between Ino and Sakura. ^^ Awesome chapter. Thanks for posting this.

I've had a lot more fun with Ino than I first expected to. She wasn't originally supposed to have such a big part of Sakura not-the-boys life, but. Heh.
Shikamaru: . . . Why the hell do you want me to pass bar so much?
Ino: I need to kill these guys! And you need to get me off!
Shikamaru: . . . .
Shikamaru: *fails the next four exams. again*
Ino: *IS NOT PLEASED*

Other than that, very nice, very cute. Between this and the other few chapters he's appeared, I get the impression that Itachi actually cares for his brother, even though he's somewhat irritated by the fact that his life would be infinitely easier if Sasuke didn't exist.
And were those Ino/Saku hints I saw or was that just my twisted mind?
(I was innocent once. I miss it.)

Mm, he willingly keeps Sasuke on as a useless burden, which I guess is the equivalent of caring for Itachi, but he also plays a lot of power games and keeps Sasuke on a pretty short leash, so he is getting something out of the arrangement.
Heh, you could take it as either. Ino and Sakura, the way I interpret them, lend themselves pretty easily to a romantic friendship. *grin*

You should! I can loan it to you in August if you want--it's really twice as good as Vurt was.
