He wasn’t so much scared as angry, lonely without his brother and hating himself for it, for the situation he had gotten himself into. No Dad, no Sam. Just Dean, and it was as fucking difficult as ever. He’d forgotten how to be just Dean; had lost him somewhere in between DadandDean and SamandDean, and he figured at least if he was dying now he wouldn’t have to worry about finding him again.
