Reclaimed Cosplay - Updates #2
Been at it again tonight. Almost done with all of the props and have something of a plan for the costume piece itself.
The mask is pretty obviously a hacked up paintball mask. My goal is to have a large hood covering most of it so it's less obvious. Thought the paint job came out nice though.
Made this piece this evening. I thought it turned out really quite neat, though I'm finding myself having some qualms about safety with it. I honestly don't think it's any more dangerous than a Legato coat, but I'm going to need to think about this. In any case, it's a shoulder piece constructed out of leather and some 6 inch flat head bolts. Haven't decided how I'm going to afix it to my body but it's going to be strapped on across the chest at least, Probably will have to add more to keep it on though.
*EDIT* Actually, I really, really could use some commentary on whether or not you think the shoulder piece is safe. Or am I just being paranoid?
