To clear the questions that people commented last time, here's a recent report that I've translated. Hope this somehow clear things up...
Morimoto Ryuutarou, attacked by male stalker
by Daily Sports
Johnny's male stalker became a concern. Hey! Say! JUMP's Morimoto Ryuutarou's (14) mobile phone was assumed to have been stolen. On the 17th, Kanagawa prefectural Aoba district police arrested an unemplyed boy (17) of Saitama due to suspicion of theft. Morimoto has long been a victim of stalking from the said person such as the stalker following him to his home before and consulted the police about the matter. Johnny's has many fans with women in majority, the man kept on stalking the male idol which resulted to an unprecedented incident leading to his arrest.
The fan went too far and runaway, developing into an incident. Since last year, Morimoto has been bothered by the stalker's behavior. The family consulted the same police station in December saying, "its been troublesome coming home". In stage, as one of the many fans may end up injuring [probably someone?] or getting injured they were advised to "do something immediately, there is about 110+ watching".
According to Johnny's and the police, around 10pm on the 16th, Morimoto was ambushed near his home when he was on his way back home from work. The two entered a family restaurant in Aoba district, Azima, in Yokohama to talk and tell the boy to stop going to his house. After the discussion, they went outside the store and headed to the direction of their respective houses. The boy grabbed his arm and said "I have a knife. I can cut your hand", threatening him. When Morimoto was about to contact his family through his mobile phone, the boy took it and left.
Morimoto informed the police when he got back home. He got a phone call from the boy through his other mobile phone and demanded to talk to him again. In Tokyo Denentoshi Line Azamino Station, where agents were, the boy was questioned why he had Morimoto's phone, and was arrested without warrant due to the suspicion of theft on 3:30AM of the 17th. He did not have a knife.
Morimoto who listened to the circumstances in the same police station said "to threathen people or to take things is inexcusable". The boy denied charges and said, "I did not steal a mobile phone".
Johnny's commented, "When one (talent) goes home or to school, we have a rule that they should go in large groups for security purposes. We would like to keep the rule and assist them". According to the police it was the first time that the arrest came under the act of an artist.
Edit: I sort of missed out on something regarding the police's advice (forgot to copy-paste it from my draft) and there were some gramatical errors. I've already corrected them, Sorry about that!
* Any mistranslation, kindly inform me...
* I would like to translate the other news regarding Ryuu-kun's case but seeing as there are a lot, I'm afraid I cannot do so. I still have to study. Sorry!
