Someone's not reading very many books today

I think last post I mentioned that I slept until 3 pm on Sunday. Well, the effects of that meant not sleeping at all Sunday night. Not one wink. Everyone noticed that I looked exhausted, and I know I was acting funny. I didn't get home until 5 pm, 26 hours without sleep. It was less devastating that I thought it was be, in as far as I wasn't tired to the point of tears or cranky. Just a little out of it. I was still planning to meet Corey for dinner, but there wasn't enough time for me to nap and meet him in Tukwila by 6, so I had to call and push it back to 6:30. I slept the sleep of the dead for a solid 45 minutes. I woke up all confused, and not really sure what was going on, but I remembered that I'd scheduled myself tightly, so I didn't have time to really regain cognitive abilities before I grabbed my stuff and went out the door to the light rail station.
Later while I was talking to Corey, I gave him a heads up that I'd slept for 45 minutes in the past 28 hours, so I might be a little weird. It was all good though, on the ability to still process and interact with the world around me front. The more prominent issue was my cold.
Now, my throat had been feeling funny, since maybe around Tuesday or Wednesday, but the sniffles haven't been bad, I haven't been achey or anything. It would usually be worse in the morning and be much less of a problem by day. Unfortunately, the illness has caught up with me a little more in that I lost my voice last night. I was definitely getting a little husky yesterday afternoon, and while Corey and I hung out for a couple hours I was able to hear my voice get lower and lower.
Thankfully, I'm not coughing at all, and my nose isn't runny, though it does that switching off congestion thing, so I'm thinking it's okay for me to go into work, provided I'm great about washing my hands. I never kiss the kids or sneeze on them, so they should be okay.

I was on Regretsy this weekend after not visiting for a while, and this is what I found:

ETA: I'd like to mention that I woke up at 4 am for no discernible reason. FML.
