Sunday and Time for Dinner
Dinner will be leftovers and can wait a few more minutes. Besides, I haven't stirred my martini, yet. I wonder if I could convince my guy, the Redheaded Kid, to make one for me.
It was a nice weekend, and I feel firmly ensconced in our temporary apartment once again. Five days of increasing frazzle level during the workweek followed by two blessed days of relaxation. Ya know, relaxing things like assigning healers to DHN groups, paying bills, balancing the checkbook.
And then there are really fun things, like meeting four friends for lunch at our favorite Chinese place. It's always nice when these friends meet those friends and the circle gets bigger. Now Emery (with an e) knows Erik (with a K) and Sam knows Marina and Laura.
That was Saturday. Sunday got off to a slower start. We slept in. Delightful. Went to the Reston Art Fair for an hour or so. The rain held off but the crowds were thin. We didn't buy anything -no wall space left at home.
We discovered Sammies and stopped by Quiznos to buy some for lunch.
Then came reading and a very short nap... the drier has a loud buzzer. Finished a book and tyook a turn around ther pond.
Now it's time for the martini and dinner.
