The best peace offering ever...

Not that I wasn`t at peace with them before. The family I am staying with, they have this amazing awesome underground room that you climb under through the kitchen floor. You go down and its a game room, with DDR, and Manga up the wazoo. Its amazing. So I went down to show Patrick and we played DDR for a while, he left and I came up from the floor and there is Megumi`s mom with two mangas in her hand. She says they are a gift, a volume of Bleach and Naruto! haha, how awesome is that? I love japan.

Also, she printed out a map of a HUG anime store in Shabuya, I looked at the pictures and I had to pick up my jaw. Amazing.

We went to shinjuku today in the morning, we went down a bunch of random streets just for the hell of it and while Jessica and Patrick went to look at shoes I found typing of the dead... in which I didn`t last more then Level Two, but still had fun. Lost another 100 yen trying to get some bleach figures out of a claw machine. Ugh...

Everyone left me at a point to either eat or shop, and I found a descret 5 story arcade. Now you ask, how do they make a descret 5 story arcade? Well next to everything else, and in a small alley, it was hard to find. But Level 1-4 was all Print Club, and arcade games... 5th level of Gamers, which is actually an anime store that I visit every so often when I was in Tachikawa last time. Didn`t spend anything but wished I could.

First I want to explain the randomness that is Japan. Now for example, Garfield. Everyone in America loves that cat. Reads the comics in the news paper, might have watched the show when it was on in the 90`s, might have seen the movie. That is how Japan is about Anime. Its there, they like it. Everyone watches it or reads manga. Its got the same respect as Garfield or Peanuts in America. At least that is how I see it now. Its pretty awesome, but most people don`t go crazy over it like they do in america. Anime I mean...lol Ok I am done... haha

Ja Ne!
