Halloween Fic Challenge
For a fandom surrounding monsters, demons, half-bloods & spirits, not to mention zombies and the occasional apocalypse, what better holiday to celebrate than Halloween?
Participants:
All of you are invited to join in, not just members. Posting access to the community will be opened to everyone for the month of October, so everyone can join in and post their fic.
The Challenge... Should You Choose To Accept It.
Horror.
Oh, you say, but this is Yu Yu Hakusho fandom! It's all monsters and demons!
Well, that's true. But the challenge isn't to write a monster story - it's to write a horror story. Ghosts, the elder gods, the things that really go bump in the night. That's what we want to see. Put Yuusuke and Company in a situation so intense, so creepy, that even they can't cope with it all.
Rules:
The story can be as long or as short as you like, can feature any character (OCs are fine as long as it is obviously set in the YYH world) and may be about anything you like - as long as it's scary. Crossovers, AUs, etc are fine.
If your story contains TRULY disturbing content, please post a warning for "dark content".
Otherwise, the only rule is that you should try your hardest to scare our socks off.
Deadline:
October 31st. ^_^ You can post it early, of course.
If there's anything I've left out that you need to know, leave a comment and we'll make sure to respond ASAP.
