While I generally concur, the only thing Tsubasa/Holitsuba related that ever made me consider Syaoran and (Fai/Yuui) was a Youtube video someone made a long while back. It was just random funny parts and songs, none of it too exciting...
And then, at the end, they had a short music video they did.
O M G.
I laughed my ass off, they did a great job in the midst of a terribly awful video. It was set to the (god, so awful, but still makes me giggle at times) song "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne (I think EVERYONE has heard it...)...with Sakura as Stacy, Kuro as "Dad who's not in the picture", and Fai as Mom...
That was the only time I ever saw that pairing referenced and, while I wouldn't read anything serious about it....XD Video amused. If you know the song, you don't need to see the video (Because I don't have a link anymore, lost it forever ago and don't even know how random searches got me there >>...)...but if you don't know the song, go listen to it and you can totally imagine. Hehehe.
