Okay, every once in a while in my room I hear a high-pitched beep followed by a recording of a woman's voice saying "low battery" and I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT'S COMING FROM. I hate that. In my house there are a million and a half smoke detectors and when the battery runs low on one of them, it beeps once every five minutes or so and it takes me FOREVER to figure out which one it is.

I thought it might be a carbon monoxide detector or something, but I have no idea if we even have one of those... And don't they usually plug into the wall?
