Reasons I hate New Jersey: #2454287
#2454287: To have fun in New Jersey, you have to drive to somewhere that isn't New Jersey.
Main point at the moment: Coffee shops and other such places of meeting and killing time. They don't exist here. So when I'm sitting around and I'm thinking, "I would like to get out of my house for a little bit, maybe take a book or a video game and go have some coffee and snacks" my options are as follows: NOTHING and MORE NOTHING. I could go to one of the two Starbucks I know of is this whole farking county, but they're both teeny tiny and only have a couple of tables each. They're not meant for you to sit there for more than the time it takes to eat some cake. I'm pretty sure if I sat around reading they'd wonder why the fuck I was still there, and don't I have somewhere better to be?
And now you're going to say, "But Rose, there are lots of OTHER things you could be doing!"
Well, that's a big crock of shit because there really isn't.
And then you say, "Don't you live in Parsippany? There's an awfully nice movie theater up there." To which I would say, "Go play in traffic."
Now say I'm looking for something to do and it's about 8pm. Well then I'm really fucked because nothing is open past maybe 10pm around here. Unless my idea of fun is going to the grocery store, which it's not.
So in short: This place fucking sucks.
