DSL or Wi-Fi? Opinions appreciated...
Mom and I are determined to have a good net access at home. The thing is, we're not sure whether to get DSL or Smart Bro's Wi-Fi. We would appreciate very much your opinions/advice on this.
Status quo:
1. Our house is situated in the city, just less than 5 kms from the city proper.
2. We're within walking distance from SM City Davao.
3. We have our own PLDT line.
4. Our neighbor has Wi-Fi connection.
5. We have three computers at home: 1 desktop and 2 laptops. Only the desktop is connected
to a printer.
6. Mom uses the internet to check her mail. She's only starting to get the hang of IM.
7. I use the net for email, chatting, blogs, and a few occasional downloads.
I really have no clue which internet service is better. Can you help me be enlightened on their pros and cons so we may be able to decide? Thanks.
