Moving things around
We want Alice to get her own room now. But the room is currently our office, with three desks (two with the computers, one with my sewing machine), so we have to move a lot of things around.
The sewing corner will move back to the sleeping room, where it was before we had to put the diaper table and craddle.
One of the computer desks will end up in the living room, which means we have to move some bookshelves from the living room. My baby's going to sleep surrounded by manga, I'm afraid :P
The other computer desk is gonna remain here, but without a computer on it. I don't know where we're gonna put my G4 - probably some cupboard, since I don't use it that often for the moment.
My husband's computer collection (yes, he has one, a dozen of old things running various OSes) also has to be moved somewhere. Since he refuses to put them in the cellar, we're moving other things into the cellar, so he can put them all in a cupboard. This afternoon we started with my fanzine collection, then most of the remaining VHS tapes, and I'm in the process of putting piles of magazines in plastic bags so we can move them there as well. Funny how the highest pile is my collection of Premiere magazines... I don't go to the cinema that often ^^;
Once we'll have cleared some space here and there, we'll start moving furniture around... That's gonna be funny I'm sure :P (we'll have to take the desk apart, it can't come through the doors as is, and I see all sorts of other complications coming).
