The first night at home...

First, thanks to everyone who commented on the last post ^^

So, we came back home with Alice yesterday. Problems we've had to face for now :
- it's awfully hot outside, which means she's always thirsty. I have to feed her more often than I would normally, so my nipples are having a hard time. Add I can't sit confortably (fuckin' episiotomy), I'm a bit exhausted ;
- we have to give her antibiotics for a few weeks. In syrup form, something that's neither milk nor water... she tends to spit out, because she's not used to that taste... hope she will get used to it with time ;
- we don't have a proper diaper table yet... we ordered it ten days ago from Ikea but we will only get it next week. Today bathing time was a bit awkward, because we had to make without as well as make sense of what to use for what part of the cleaning process (the pediatrician's list of product is a bit... long) ^^;

The night went well, Alice slept nicely and just woke us up around 3:30 AM, ate and came back to sleep. She's a calm baby overall, when she's awake and not hungry/thirsty/in need of a new diaper, she just looks around with her big blue eyes wide open, she doesn't cry without a good reason and that's a good thing because I would probably panic otherwise.
