Its called The Cloud Walk PART II

Jul 18, 2004 15:31

I was lying there
on the mossy ridge
thinking about gravity.

I climbed out to one of the farthest
points to try to drop off
into space,

to break the law and fall "up."
The punishment for that
is to constantly think of sex.

Then a friend approached me in the ferns.
"Stop talking to them," he shouted.
"They eat light!"

I wrote this poem last night as my family was up at the Park, in the rain enduring the moist wet feeling underneath the skin. I was staring into the sky I felt alone, feeling such; no one can embrace. I’m on a new mission in life; out there to find out why I have been put on to this planet. It’s my new objective I will blind everything else to find such events.
