I'm writing here because I can't remember my password on fiction alley. I wanted to thank you for your review on my Balance of Power series. It was so much fun to explore Voldemort's character in that and as someone who can appreciate that (judging by your writing subjects on this journal), I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've turned to slash myself. I write Snarry, although I've been tempted to write Tom/Harry.
As for original stuff, I have 4 completed novels (one is a sci/fi fantasy trilogy). The first book is currently being considered at a publisher as is another of my works. Thank you for asking. I'll be sure to announce it if they are accepted.
Thank you again for the review and good luck with your writing.
I came on your fics via the Readers' Corner where someone had asked about fics with a realistic portrayal of Voldemort and yours were mentioned. To say I was hooked from the first couple of chapters is an understatement! I love reading well-thought out stories and your trilogy more than was.
Voldemort's character is wonderful to explore - if you ignore certain aspects of HBP :) You did such a good job that even now, after having finished all four stories, a lot of things could still be discusses with evidence to support many statements. I'm still thinking about some things. You made a 'durable' character of him, one that sticks with you.
I would friend you, if you don't mind, to keep track of your writings then. I'm not a huge Snarry shipper but I do like some of the better stories.
I hope your books get accepted and published! Your fanfiction certainly convinced me and a book lover as I am, new 'reading fodder' is always very welcome :)
Voldemort is definitely a wonderful character, in fact, I'm most disappointed in JKR's protrayal at times. I can understand that the books being in Harry's pov will restrict seeing more detail in his characterization, but she's sort of kept to the two-dimentional "evil, obsessed" character. Some of her more over-the-top descriptions seem contradictory to the others she presents.
Friend away. I'll friend back. I may get around to doing a Voldemort/Harry fic yet. heh.

Couldn't agree more. We've had a couple of lengthy discussions on this at FAP. I agreed especially with the inner-contradiction-argument: the underlying tone of the series is about making choices in life whereas Voldemort's characterisation tips the balance to 'predestined to be evil'.
And just think this: Rowling wasn't accepted from the first time either but can you imagine how much the publishers who rejected her must regret it now...
