Today I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

"Ewww" I hear you say?

Well goddamn, now I finally know what the deal is!

So I have to change to a high fibre diet, and drink 8 glasses of water a day! Jeebus!

The doc gave me some drugs to try out too but if it doesnt get better after 2-3 weeks then I have to go back for more tests which involves uncomfortable prodding. Now that's "ewww"!

So to make myself feel better, I bought a new wireless laser mouse.. it's mad!

And tomorrow we get our new puppy. His name is Harry and a cross maltese-poodle-cavilier king charles, (I'm not sure about the maltese, i think it is).

Oh, and I'm taking a break from CS:S. I've spent too much time playing that game. It is now all about Battlefield 2. :P

So yeah, back to IBS. This is my recommended eating plan:

Breakfast - a bowl of high fibre cereal such as untoasted muesli, weetbix or porridge with fresh or tinned fruit and reduced fat milk or a calcium fortified soy milk and/ or wholemeal or grain toast with minimal margarine and honey or vegemite. Tea.

Lunch - sandwiches made with wholemeal bread with low fat cheese, lean beef, tinned fish and salad. Tinned or fresh fruit with low fat yoghurt. Water, tea or diluted juice.

Main Meal - water, lean grilled chicken with lemon juice and pepper. Served with salad, boiled new potatoes and wholemeal bread.

Snacks spread throughout the day - fresh fruit, low fat yoghurt, crackers with cheese, or wholemeal crumpets with honey. Water, tea or diluted juice.
