[personality] There are a lot of conflicting parts to Hibari: quiet, brutal, confident, disinterested, but first and foremost, he loves fighting, he’s incredibly good at it, and he knows it. Through a combination of tactical intelligence, physical strength, skill, and inhuman pain tolerance Hibari has more than earned the title of the Vongola’s strongest guardian. He’s terrifying, and he’s been that way since (and likely before) he was fifteen years old, when he used his greater strength to extort his fellow students and make them obey his (sometimes entirely arbitrary) rules. There isn’t any kind of sympathy or amicability in him; in Hibari’s world, you’re either strong and on top, or you’re a weak herbivore and dependent on others for protection. It’s evident in the way he talks: calling others ‘crowding herbivores’ and threatening to ‘bite them to death’ and using other Animal Planet lions vs. Gazelles sort of language.
That said, looking at him, one really wouldn’t peg him as being bloodthirsty. Generally, he’s well-dressed, quiet but formal, and, frankly, bored. It’s not uncommon to find him napping (and it’s just as common to accidentally wake him up and get bitten to death) or reading. However, he does have a habit when bored forcing the students of Namimori Middle into impossible to win games and then biting them to death for losing. He seeks strong opponents but he doesn’t have any compunctions about terrorizing the weak though, he tends not to bother much over herbivores for long unless their fear is particularly amusing.
Though the only authority Hibari recognizes is superior strength, he does work on his own personal code. He hates getting help of any kind from any one, but he will always repay a favor done for him. He also loves collecting favors owed to him and will go out of his way to get them. Once Hibari finds a worthy opponent he’ll do anything to fight them; he’s driven entirely by his will to win to the point where he will fight past the point unconsciousness until his body is literally incapable of supporting him any more, just to finish a battle. For Hibari, losing is not something he thinks he’s even capable of.
And then there are the pieces totally out of line with Hibari’s normal personality: he loves his school, Namimori Middle intensely; His violence is largely motivated by his desire for order and peace; He’s strangely good with animals, like being able to tame birds. And, of course, despite how much he hates mingling with other people, he still sticks with the Vongola and is shown ten years later as still being a reliable cloud guardian.
[orientation] Asexual. Hibari has absolutely zero interest in being close to another human being for any reason other than fighting. To him, sex is an even more repugnant form of crowding.
[appearance] At eighteen, Hibari will be smack in the middle of a growth spurt. He’ll be about 5’8 (a couple inches taller.) and not very filled out. Overall, he’s lost some of that baby fat in his face and he gives the general impression of being lean and somewhat tall. His hair is always a little closer to what it is ten years later, short enough to get kind of birdnesty.
[wish] Hibari fundamentally does not believe in asking for things from other people; really, his only desire is to fight Reborn (the eponymous hitman tutor of the series and the strongest man Hibari knows).

[misc notes] Hibari will be getting a jade bracelet, due to his Dying Will flames. Here. Are his abilities. However, he’s far more notable for his own natural pain tolerance and skill at fighting. He can take large doses of poison, fight with 50% of his bones broken, etc. When it comes to fighting, Hibari just tends to do really ridiculous stuff, but he’s far from undefeatable.

By the time Hibari had become a third year, sexual misconduct at Namimori High was rampant. The Disciplinary Committee had been doubled to deal with instances of students ducking behind stair cases and sneaking up to the roof, but it seemed Hibari still couldn’t turn a corner without tripping over some herbivore with his tongue down some other herbivore’s throat. It was disgusting as well as completely against Namimori’s code of conduct.
His mind was trying to resolve that and his current position, sprawled on the couch with teeth skimming against the soft flesh of his stomach.
He’d found the boy (the one attached to the teeth, but not for long) fooling around with some girl in his office on his couch and asked, out of honest curiosity, if he had wanted to be bitten to death (the girl had good instincts: she ran). Only if I get to bite back. The rest was stubbornly blurred`out; Hibari was suddenly flat on the couch with his shirt ripped open (Desecration of school uniform as well as assisting dress code violation.) and and his hands fisted harshly in the boy’s hair as teeth and tongue undid his fly.
There was a hickey on his neck and nail marks all down the boy’s back; more marks appeared as his tongue lathed over Hibari’s erection. Hibari sat up until he was leaned over the other male, his breath mussing his hair. “Bite, “ he purred. “I dare you.”
