Haha, just got meself the Have A Nice Day album.
Funky stuff really. I've heard the song so many times. And each time I
hear it, I became more and more interested. During the penang trip,
Lina was playing it on her mp3 player. i overheard it. And after that
the song kept beating in my mind over and over and I told myself once I
get back, I'm getting the album. One thing that I'm certain about Bon
Jovi is that their music haven;t changed much. They changed abit here
and there but other then that, they still keep their cool. Exatly how
legends do. I mean these guys stand beside Aerosmith, Metallica, Deep
Purple, you know all that. Don't know. Hearing this album makes me feel
abit sentimental. Made me remember when I was a kid. My elder cousins
would all collect in the back room. We dished out the guitars and came
out music that now can be considered legendary. Bon Jovi, Bono, Queen's
stretches, Hammet's tunes and the ever so famous Cobain voice.
I think the first real guitarist I met when I was a kid was a malaysian
legend named Man Kidal. He's still around. But during that time he was
playing with Zainal Abidin. That was during the time that my family was
close with Roslan Aziz's family and the part about him and wife Shiela.
Whoa, old times. My childhood in Kampung Baru and Taman Tar. Hahahha,
and I even remembered the part of me and my cousins going into Kak
Gee's house. That was cool. Wonder if she's still living where she is.
Time has passed. But she's still so hot. Kwa Kwa kwa. Anyway, toodles.
