Why thank you! The blowjob line hit me like a ton of bricks -- as much as I love romantic!Rossi, this just called for snarky!Rossi.

I want the BFIR Wedding fic, too. I prompted it, actually, and somebody promised they'd write it for me. I'm giving 'em two more weeks, tops, and then writing it myself. Probably using my Irish cousins' weddings as research -- Since Catholicism still isn't on board with this whole homosexuality thing and all (*sigh* Sometimes, my religion's a right bitch), we're gonna need a protestant minister of some kind, and all my cousins had short services followed by long-ass, rowdy receptions.

Between Mama Rossi and Penelope, if they aren't somewhat restrained, Rossi will have to sell his summer house to pay for the damn thing. Poor boys, they don't know what they're getting into.

Thanks! I love giving them fluff. And I like confident!Reid, too. He's had a lot of opportunity to be confident since, like, the fifth season. Between "The Uncanny Valley" and a slew of other little bits -- I'd say Reid's totally comfortable in his skin, and, if he's boning David Rossi, well, it's gonna extend to that, too.

Fluff in CM fandom is always needed, with all the people who try to ruin other people's fun.

I wonder why people dn't write confident!Reid or top!Reid anymore. Reid is a strong, confident guy whoas you said, is comfortable in his skin. But at least you write him like that, so you deserve lots of hugs ;D

I guess that a lot of us still hanker after vulnerable, awkward Reid from earlier seasons. I actually like confident Reid better (can you imagine Season One's Reid tearing Samantha's father a new one? I can't), so I guess that seeps in. Also, I don't think this pairing really works unless Reid is growing or is already comfortable in his skin. Which, lucky for me, he is.

You're welcome, and thank you! I love writing fluff, but I tend to be a bit hit-or-miss with it.

The meme was brilliant. For about a week I practically lived on it -- it got me writing when I was blocked on my Big Bang. There's some really good fic there, too, depending on what fandoms you're into. I did some Hotch/Reid stuff, too.

This is wonderfully charming. I can see Mama Rossi wanting to make it official, and the line about her leaving the message on their answering machine while cooking for 10 people was great.

I specially loved Dave's "ain't going down on one knee..." quip because it is so totally Rossi!

Thanks! I'm glad the blowjob line has rung truly Rossi. I thought of it and was like, yes.

I love Mama Rossi; in my head, she's like my Italian grandma, and she bakes cookies every Christmas for the whole Family, and you're always welcome to stay at her place if you can't get home okay. And the rest of the Rossis are a lot like a mix of my mom's Italian family and my dad's Irish one -- lots of loud, hilarious people who, when gathered, just eat and talk and dance and drink. It's great.

Clearly my family missed out on the memo about that sort of thing. I have a big family, but our ancestry is all Irish/English/German, and they're not much like what you just described. Mom's side is all worrywarts and dad's side is mostly scholars, with a few gambling addicts thrown in for good measure.
