SURE, WHY NOT.
- Robert gets by on about four to five hours of sleep per night. Oftentimes, he will go to bed around 11 or midnight, and wake up anywhere between 3 and 7 AM. Ever since moving out of the dorms and into the Petrellicest cabin, he has taken to napping here and there, upping his hours of sleep per day to around seven or so.
- Depending on how early it is when he wakes up, Robert will often sit in bed for an hour or two (... or three or five), curled up with either a book or his laptop (where he's then reading something). If it's a nice morning, he'll sit outside and read there.
- Robert doesn't care for sweets. He doesn't eat much to begin with, but he prefers salty things more and has a soft spot for crackers - particularly those Goldfish ones. Put a box in front of him and he'll pick away at it for hours while reading something.
- Speaking of fish, Robert prefers fish over meat. He's never been that fond of red meat, and when Marco cooked for the Ten, he got it into his head pretty damn quickly that he didn't care for it. :)
- He takes time at least once a week to go into the Caves of Despair and hone his skills with his jingi. Nowadays, this means slipping off in the middle of the night to do it.
- Emotions are a key point in Ueki. Robert used to use his hatred to power all his abilities and skills. When he lost it, he grew weaker. Currently, he is looking for something else to use to get stronger.
- Because he is post-canon and actually CARES about not hurting people, he always wears a pair of gloves when he goes out. These gloves are ideal, which means they also block usage of any jingi that require his hands (in theory).
- ... speaking of, anything that was idealized in camp in his previous stay has stayed idealized. This is mostly so the ongoing joke of people commenting on the ideal tea cup can continue.
- Robert still swears up and down that the tea cup is useful. It's one of the few things he gets worked up over.
- He has swapped out coats very recently, opting for a simple black coat nowadays, one that he probably idealized before he left before after something Roy Mustang said. This is not a stylistic issue or a self-preservation thing by any means. If asked why he did it, Robert will snap out something about liking the coat he has now better.
- Even though he has switched coats, Robert still keeps a single red envelope in one of the inner coat pockets.
- When he was younger, after he destroyed his "hometown," Margaret took him off to train. He spent nearly every day of his life for ten years strengthening himself for the tournament, going through some of the most gruelling training for it.
- He did have downtime during all of that, though, and spent a lot of it reading, since he didn't really want to go anywhere. Margaret did bring in tutors to educate Robert, but always checked and rearranged the lesson plan to his liking before allowing it to be taught.
- "Monster" is the one word he actively dislikes. A lot. It used to set him off; nowadays, it just makes him bristle a bit.
- Robert still considers Ueki to be his "first friend."
- Robert will drink any kind of tea. He does actually get excited over being able to try new types of tea. Sadly.
- It isn't that Robert dislikes people, but if someone does not actively interest him, he will not carry a conversation for too long with them. He has been known to cut off conversations that bore him, hence coming off as aloof.
- He also tends to push away those that he finds getting close to him. This is for a number of reasons. The closer someone gets, the more Robert will try to either push them away or cut them off.
- The exceptions to this are people who knew him really well from when he was in camp before (Umeda, Roy, Allen to an extent) or people who are very, very, very persistent (Peter).
- Robert doesn't care much about first impressions with people who appear to be younger than him. Unless they are small children, he will be blunt, often not even concerning himself with their names unless it actually strikes his fancy.
- People his age or around it get more of a chance. How much "more" is is debatable. With people who are older than him, it depends on how they approach him. If they treat him like a kid, he's more inclined to show them up at the first opportunity. If they treat him with respect, he'll actually be polite. Ish. ... ish.
- But if any of them are boring, he'll drop the conversation very quickly.
- Robert tends to make friends with more adults than with kids his own age.
- Oddly enough, Robert tends not to lie outright. He prefers to lie by omission. If he knows he is speaking with someone who is a mind reader, he'll opt to be as honest as he can stand, since it's pointless to lie or deny something due to the fact that they can read his mind. It's just less annoying to him that way.
- In regards to secrets, Robert has no qualms now with telling people he isn't human. He doesn't advertise the fact or run around telling everyone he meets that he isn't, but if it comes up, he'll mention it.
- His powers, on the other hand, are something he keeps a secret. He never talks about the jingi unless it's someone who has seen him fight or someone he trusts.
- Despite appearances, when adding all his time together, Robert considers himself to be 18. Physically, he is probably around 16.
- While Robert does not eat much, he likes to cook. In the time between the end of the tournament and coming to camp, he spent much of it experimenting in the kitchen. He sees it as a puzzle.
- Sometimes, in camp, he cheats and uses ideal utensils et all while cooking.
- Robert has done so many crossword puzzles during his time in camp that he could probably immediately whip back a response about any clue on any crossword puzzle.
- He has since moved on to Sudoku.
