Right, see, but Capell's standard for "person is nice to me" is SO LOW. So even if Robert were accientally a dick, he...probably wouldn't notice? Or might notice but might not care or mention it. Usually it seems like the likelihood of Capell calling someone on their dickishness is directly related to the other person's ability to inflict harm on him because he's...really used to that. And Robert sort of implied ("implied" hurr) that he is probably very capable of putting the hurt on. So! Yeah.
But generally he thinks Robert is very nice, if not just a little strange, but honestly he's not a very good judge of that sort of thing. Capell doesn't really mind the trust issues because...he actually has quite a few himself! And is given to lying to people about his past since it's just easier.
He totally considers Robert a friend, insofar that a "friend" is someone who does not outwardly appear to hate him all the time. (His Love Interest's entry on the status page says "Friend: Thanks for not hating me!".)
It's a good thing Kid is pretty ADD, as well as OCD. His life is hard enough as it is.
