Alright, so. I saw you changed the user info and dropped the old layout. I added my contact info to the info page, but we do need a layout. I have a few hours today, so depending on how quickly I can get done with the work stuff that needs to be out of the way first, I might try to whip something out.

We need to do some community promotion. There aren't many members, and if we want to make it work, we need more people. I got a friend to join last night, and I think she will be participating because she makes lots of icons as it is (and she is into YnM).

We also need to decide about the rules, before we post the first contest. Do we keep it one icon per person, or perhaps we're going to allow two? We allow two over at and it's worked rather well. Two icons aren't a requirement but rather a possibility, and usually most people submitted two.

We need to set the submission/results days that suit both of us. I'd rather it not be saturday, as I'm often not available then. Fridays and Sundays are fine, though.

Hmm... there was something else I wanted to add here, but it escapes me now. :P Do you think you could get yourself MSN? I can't get AIM to work for me (it keeps disconnecting, for whatever reason) so that we can talk?

Actually, can you believe they took down the layout and info before giving the community to us? Talk about a dickhead thing to do. They just deleted everything. We have the community, now, but I think they were being ass heads about it. I reposted the info, and I think your idea on letting people submit up to 2 icons is a good idea.

And I agree on nothing being done on Saturday because I'm usually gone from Saturday morning/afternoon until Sunday morning/afternoon. I also work Tuesday and Friday (I'm not sure if this is going to be a constant, because I just started this job) from 1pm until 7pm (Eastern Standard Time). Otherwise I'm usually not doing anything during most of the week.

Heh... heheh... well now, if *I* wanted to be an ass... I had mod access to the community before they demoded themselves and I copied their layout code. :P Call it a gut feeling, or a web programmer's curiosity, if you will. :P ::snicker::

But I'm not going so low, so I'll just make a new one. ;) If I have some time, I'll make a matching user info as well.

Saw you added me on MSN; I'm actually away right now myself, so I hope to see you around later. I'm going to bed earlier than usual this week because I have to be up every day at 7:30am, but we'll manage. :)
