Fic: dreams for wings and wanderers (Arthur/Merlin; NC-17)
Oh man, so I'm really, really bad at crossposting my fic? I just realized that I have about three big fics on AO3 that I have not posted links to here, and at least one new fic here that's not on AO3 /o\ When I finish a fic, I have an unfortunate habit of forgetting about it and latching onto a new project (which is also why I'm abysmally awful at answering comments.) I always figure that people would appreciate getting new fic more, though I do feel really bad for not responding to all the wonderful feedback. I definitely read them all ♥
Anyway, thanks to everyone for reading, please forgive my shortcomings.
PAPERLEGENDS BIG BANG 2012
Title: dreams for wings and wanderers

Genre: adventure, fusion with 'Temeraire' series universe (highly recommended, though knowledge of it is not necessary to read this fic)
Pairings/characters: mainly Arthur/Merlin, also a bit of Arthur/Gwen and Merlin/Gwaine
Rating: NC-17 (mainly PG-13 except for one chapter)
Word Count: 66,700
Warnings: battle scenes, violence
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters mentioned herein. They’re based on the BBC series 'Merlin' and certain elements have also been taken from the 'Temeraire' book series by Naomi Novik. No profit is made from the creation or publication of these fanworks.
Summary:
Dragons are feared and mistrusted throughout Albion, and there are very few of them left in Camelot, for Uther’s long campaign against magic also included hunting down all the dragons in the wild. Now, Camelot is recovering from the invasion of Cenred and Morgause's army. Prince Arthur is the one in charge, and Merlin finds out that his secret regular visits to the covert haven't been very secret at all. There's a great deal of manly bonding with the Knights, inquisitive dragons being inquisitive, and a record-breaking number of near-death experiences for Merlin. And this is before he gets his very own dragon. (A Merlin/Temeraire fusion.)
