Summary: Sungmin is a bit insecure about his sister. Then comes a white rabbit that kidnaps him into wonderland. However, getting out is not as easy as getting in.
Note: this is the based on the plot of a visual novel/ manga, which I tweaked to turn into SJ characters and written down. I may add some extra scene when I feel like it, but nonetheless I own nothing in this fic, except maybe the grammar errors and whatnots.
note 2: there's henmin and a bit of kyumin in this chap. ;) as well as showing the other chars.

Chapter 2: Welcome to Wonderland
My head hurts…
What happened? Oh yeah…I was falling down a hole…wait…I’m alive?
Sungmin opens his eyes blinking. He looked around and nothing looked familiar. “W-Where am I?” he gaped, eyes wide. There were strange looking bricks around him, and it didn’t make sense at all.
“This” a familiar voice said suddenly to Sungmin’s right, making him turn and see the rabbit-turned-man who brought him here in the first place standing there with a smile, offering a hand to him “is wonderland”
And still nothing registered to him “Wonderland?”
“Yes Sungmin-ah, welcome to Wonderland” he says with a smile.
He frowned “I…I’ve never heard of a place called wonderland!” he protested, then realized something as he stared at the other “How did you know my name?!”
“Of course I know your name” the man-rabbit said, a bit too happily “I love you”
Sungmin gaped at him. What the hell? A kidnapper who wears rabbit ears who suddenly declares loves…Either he’s a stalker…or a pervert…or both. Either way Sungmin wanted no part of his insanity “Take me home!” he orders him, still not moving from where he just got up.
The man-rabbit shook his head “That’s impossible, but” he reaches into his pocket and suddenly pulls out a small vial that contained some sort of pink liquid inside “Here, please drink this”
“Who would drink something that suspicious especially from someone like you!” Sungmin shouted at him “There’s no way I’m drinking that!”
“But that would be a problem” just like that the other started to walk towards him.
“D-Don’t come near me!” he managed to stutter out, but of course the other wasn’t listening to him “W-What kind of joke is this, why do I have to drink something a pervert like you gives…” he tries to stand but found he can’t move, at all. “W-What” he froze when he realized the man-rabbit’s face was just in front of him.
“Aren’t you curious to learn my name?” the other says playfully with a wink, taking a closer look at his face. Sungmin resisted the urge to blush.
He’s pretty handsome for a kidnapper pervert….wait! What am I thinking!?
“If you’re curious then you must like me!” he suddenly said happily.
Sungmin gawked “W-what?! N-No one would like you!” he told him, feeling his face colour slightly. Ugh.
The man’s ears twitched slightly, as if in confusion “No? I just thought…” he says before standing up and looking thoughtful, muttering to himself “That’s right, it wouldn’t be that easy…but the game would be boring if it was…” then he pulled out lid of the small vial.
“Game?”
Hey, did you know?
Games always have rules…
It’s been decided from the beginning…
His head started to throb again, that he didn’t see the man-rabbit already drinking the contents of the vial. When he turned again, the other is in front of him, his eyes twinkling with and a mischievous look on his face. Sungmin’s eyes in realization what he was going to do, but before he could pull away the man-rabbit grabbed his chin and kissed him fully.
Sungmin gasped as a tongue forced him to open his mouth, and some sort of liquid being transferred to him. “H-He’s forcing me to drink?!” he thought wildly as he had no choice but to swallow it down.
“I’m lending you a hand, since you complain a lot” the man whispered in his ear, all playfulness gone and replaced with a rather low, serious tone.
He was seriously starting to get scared. He tried to push him away “N-No…Let go!” he tried to push him away but that serious face was still in front of him.
“I’ll let you go if you drink all of it” he said, Sungmin was left with no choice but to swallow the rest of the liquid. Then the other’s face brightened once more.
“You drank it!” he says in that voice, smiling once more. “This is the potion of hearts, and once you drink it, you become a participant in the game” Sungmin’s vision becomes blurry, but he could see the other walking away.
“My name is Henry…Henry White” he says, turning away “Now Sungmin, Let the games begin” with that he leaves, leaving Sungmin behind.

Sungmin was fuming.
“I…I was kissed…by horrible kidnapping weird guy with bunny ears…”he whispers, horrified. Then he was pissed. “That pervert!” hissing, he wiped his lips, not really amused that his first kiss was taken by a kidnapper who had a weird sense of fashion and had just left him alone. Who does that?! He will never admit to kissing that guy, he huffed, clutching the small vial which was left beside him “What on earth did he make me drink anyway?”
He was pissed, wanting nothing better at the moment than to punch that pervert rabbit in the face, or a round house kick in the midsection just for justice. Finding he can move freely again Sungmin got on his feet, weird, his headache was gone now unlike before. He tried to look around and found that he was in some sort of tower, and way down was some sort of woods with a path.
Sungmin soon found himself following that path, looking around for sight of Henry the pervert, after a while he was already out of breath from all the running. He looked around and wondered if he was lost “I ran without knowing where I’m going…ah…what do I do now?” he whispers worriedly, then after a while of walking, he found a large mansion along the way.
“I should ask them” he told himself, making his decision and walking up to the large mansion. “A pervert with bunny ear should be famous around here…whoa” he couldn’t help but say when he reaches the gates of the mansion. Saying it was huge would be quite an understatement.
He went closer, wondering if there was anyone around “This is a large mansion…are there any guards” he looks around, after all, a house that big definitely belonged to someone extremely rich or something.
“Excuse me, do you have business at the mansion?” a voice asked Sungmin from behind.
Elated that someone was actually here Sungmin turned “Ah, yes…I was going to ask…” he stopped when he realized the two guards of the gate were both holding some sort of axe-like weapon, big problem was it was pointed at him right now, but what’s surprising was it wielded by two boys.
“We’re the guards here” the one with plaid blue uniform had said, with a smile.
“We dispose of the trespassers” the other, with the red plaid uniform said in reply. They were so in synch Sungmin wondered if they were brothers or something, but it wasn’t something easy to think about when you have a deadly weapon pointed at your throat.
“You don’t look like a bad person….” One said.
“But people aren’t always what they seem” the other finished for him.
“W-Wait! I just wanted to…” Sungmin tried to explain, he didn’t want to be killed without getting the chance to explain.
“Don’t worry” they smiled, looking as if this would actually be something amusing. “It wouldn’t hurt that much right Hyukkie?”
“Yep!” the one called Hyukkie answered “Let’s kill him Hae”
They stared at him with deadly smirks “We’re not letting you go”
Sungmin’s eyes widened in fear, but before the two men could effectively slice his throat or something, a voice called out “Hey you two! What are you doing?!” making him breathe out in relief and turned to the speaker, wondering if he was the owner of the mansion.
His eyes widened slightly at the man approaching, his eyebrows twitching slightly “He has bunny ears too?” he thought, still pissed off at Henry or whats-his-name. He kept quiet as the man walked up to them, one hand on his waist and another scratching the back of his head as he turned to the two guards
“Isn’t he a guest?” he said, talking about Sungmin “That guy…did you guys’ switched uniforms again?”
“I don’t want my pay docked” ‘Hyukkie’ said
“Don’t get in our way, newbie Hare!” the other said
But the new comer just scoffed at them “Says the guys who keep slacking off” then he turns to Sungmin who was just staring at the scene “Are you really a guest? Or are you a spy?”
Sungmin didn’t really know how to respond to that “I…I’m…well…”
“Well, I don’t really care” the man said, and before Sungmin could say another word, a gun was pointed at him. A very realistic looking gun at that. “Let me handle this one, I wanted to test this new gun”
Sungmin was speechless, what the hell was with this people with all this strange weapon?! He couldn’t move. I…I’m going to be shot! He closed his eyes when he saw the other about to fire, waiting for the bullet to hit him.
It never came. But a hand was around his shoulder all of a sudden.
“Stop” a voice had said, again a new one, this one had a commanding tone.
The Hare guy stopped at once, recognizing who just came in “K-Kyuhyun…”
“I told you not to kill anyone on the premises without my consent”
Sungmin opened his eyes gently. “Am I safe?” he thought, before realizing someone did actually save him “T-thank you” he managed to say.
The man looked at him and smiled “You are welcome, stray one” Sungmin’s eyes widened at his sight.
No, it can’t be. Not stopping to think he pushed him away and run away, back towards the path, as far away from him as possible. No.
“Hey you!” the man with the gun shouted after him, but he didn’t turn back. He frowned “What the hell was that, being rude to Kyuhyun”
“She was a foreigner…” the man named Kyuhyun told him.
The hare’s ears moved in surprise “What?! Really?”
“Yes” Kyuhyun smirked, looking at the way Sungmin had ran into, “Very interesting”
Sungmin ran, not caring where his feet was taking him. That man, the man in the mansion…looked like….No. he shook his head at once, it’s not him. He told himself. He can’t be him. He walked for a few minutes more and realized he walked back to the tower where Henry had left him, and it was already evening.
“How did it become night? I swear it was just noon…” he thought, going up the steps.
To his surprise someone was in the tower.
“Who’s there?!” the man noticed his presence as once, turning to him, startling Sungmin before he could even say anything “What are you doing here, get out!”
“I’m sorry I didn’t know this was your place” Sungmin tries to explain “I was kidnapped by a man named Henry and--”
Before he could explain further the man gripped his arm rather tightly “I don’t care! Just leave! This instant!”
“Ow! Hey!” Sungmin yelled, “What’s with you?!” he was suddenly feeling pissed and so damn confused, so far nothing in this entire place made sense and it was starting to drive him insane “Even if you tell me to go back, I don’t know how! This isn’t even funny!” he didn’t even care about sounding rude anymore “getting kidnapped and thrown through a hole, forced to drink a potion then almost get killed--”
The man then looked at him with an odd expression “Potion?”
“Y-Yes” Sungmin said, a bit calm down now, showing the man the vial Henry had left him. “It was in this…”
The man shook his head, “What have you done” he muttered then looked at Sungmin, he didn’t look that angry anymore now “Then that means you’re a foreigner…”
“Foreigner?” okay this still doesn’t make sense.
“That man you named Henry, is it Henry White?”
Sungmin nodded “yes” then this man knew that perverted kidnapper?
The man sighed “Henry took you here without my permission, that rabbit” he groaned in annoyance before looking at Sungmin as if he had no choice “Come with me, I’ll explain”
The man let him sit on a table. Before going on the opposite side “My name is Siwon Monrey, master of the clock tower. Now Lee Sungmin, you are not from this world, meaning you are a foreigner. I have heard that foreigners come to this land when they wish but…”
“I never wished for this!” Sungmin said at once.
Siwon merely nodded “Yes, you did say you were forced here, this country is dangerous to foreigners who wander about. guessing from what you told me, the mansion you were at belongs to the hatters. Ryeowook March and the Bloody Brothers swing their weapon around all the time, you were lucky you even survived. Perhaps you really are lucky…”
“a man stopped them” he tried to say “His name was Kyuhyun…”
“His name is Bloody Kyuhyun, he’s the leader of the mafia”
Sungmin nearly choked on his tea “M-Mafia?!”
“Yes” Siwon said “They’re a mafia called the hatters and Kyuhyun is their leader”
“I ran away after he saved me but, I think he did something about not killing others without his consent…”
“They’re crazy” the resident of the clock tower said “it’s best to stay away from them. I shall explain the other territories”
And explain he did, the castle of hearts belong to the queen, the amusement park belonged to a man named Gowland, and the center of these three is the clock tower where they are now, which was a neutral territory. Sungmin could only nod as Siwon explained, what an absolutely peculiar land. Even an amusement park is part of the fight, it didn’t make sense at all.
“The power struggle will probably be for a while” Siwon explained. “I suggest you stay out of it”
“I hate to say this after you just explained everything but, I have no intention of staying here” Sungmin tells him “I can take care of myself, just tell me where I need to go”
Siwon looked at him sadly “Impossible, you can’t leave alone”
“Then please take me home?” he said, adding a bit of aegyo there in hopes the man would buy it.
“You can’t leave alone, that’s the rule of the foreigner, in the game you are participating in”
There’s that game again.
“Why is that?! Both you and henry are talking about games and rules and I don’t understand it!” then he realized something. It was morning again.
“W-what? It was just night!” he didn’t understand this place at all!
“it’s normal in this world” Siwon said dismissively “Don’t pay attention to it “
But Sungmin didn’t want to not understand. What is this place?!
It’s a dream.
This is a dream.
“A dream” Sungmin says softly “Is this a world inside a dream?”
“If you to think of it as that way then it’s fine, this is a never ending dream unless you finish the game. Because of the potion Henry made you drink you have to participate in the game.
Your game is whether you can return to your world and ‘you cannot play the game alone’ and ‘you cannot leave alone”
Hey, Did you know?
“Look at the bottle again” Siwon instructs and Sungmin did, to his surprise there was liquid again in the vial, very small in amount but it was definitely there. “Just as I thought” the man says “That is the key to returning to your world. It’s rule is: when the bottle is filled the time to return to your world will come”

“That’s it?” Sungmin says, a bit relieve he didn’t have to do some sort of hard task to be able to get home “I’ll just have to fill this vial up then I can go home right? It’s easy!”
Siwon just stared “Easy huh?”
You know already right?
Somewhere in that land, Henry was smiling happily. “Now we’ll be together forever, Sungmin-ah…”

Sungmin nearly choked on his tea “M-Mafia?!”
“Yes” Siwon said “They’re a mafia called the hatters and Kyuhyun is their leader”
“I ran away after he saved me but, I think he did something about not killing others without his consent…”
“They’re crazy” the resident of the clock tower said “it’s best to stay away from them. I shall explain the other territories”
And explain he did, the castle of hearts belong to the queen, the amusement park belonged to a man named Gowland, and the center of these three is the clock tower where they are now, which was a neutral territory. Sungmin could only nod as Siwon explained, what an absolutely peculiar land. Even an amusement park is part of the fight, it didn’t make sense at all.
“The power struggle will probably be for a while” Siwon explained. “I suggest you stay out of it”
“I hate to say this after you just explained everything but, I have no intention of staying here” Sungmin tells him “I can take care of myself, just tell me where I need to go”
Siwon looked at him sadly “Impossible, you can’t leave alone”
“Then please take me home?” he said, adding a bit of aegyo there in hopes the man would buy it.
“You can’t leave alone, that’s the rule of the foreigner, in the game you are participating in”
There’s that game again.
“Why is that?! Both you and henry are talking about games and rules and I don’t understand it!” then he realized something. It was morning again.
“W-what? It was just night!” he didn’t understand this place at all!
“it’s normal in this world” Siwon said dismissively “Don’t pay attention to it “
But Sungmin didn’t want to not understand. What is this place?!
It’s a dream.
This is a dream.
“A dream” Sungmin says softly “Is this a world inside a dream?”
“If you to think of it as that way then it’s fine, this is a never ending dream unless you finish the game. Because of the potion Henry made you drink you have to participate in the game.
Your game is whether you can return to your world and ‘you cannot play the game alone’ and ‘you cannot leave alone”

“Look at the bottle again” Siwon instructs and Sungmin did, to his surprise there was liquid again in the vial, very small in amount but it was definitely there. “Just as I thought” the man says “That is the key to returning to your world. It’s rule is: when the bottle is filled the time to return to your world will come”
Games always have rules.
“That’s it?” Sungmin says, a bit relieve he didn’t have to do some sort of hard task to be able to get home “I’ll just have to fill this vial up then I can go home right? It’s easy!”
Siwon just stared “Easy huh?”
You know already right?
Somewhere in that land, Henry was smiling happily. “Now we’ll be together forever, Sungmin-ah…”
