As much as I love your writing, there are parts of this story that I hate. The fact that the loas use Sam as casually as any demon would a "meat suit", and that he is involved with OCs when I really can't see him with anyone but Dean.( Painful.) And just once, it would be nice if Dean wasn't the clueless outsider and Sam the one with all the damned mojo.

There are lots of elements in this fic, more than the other 5D5D fics, that can come across like that, definitely. I will say, though, that the loas appear to be using Sam, but there's more going on there behind the scenes, and point up at the pairings and warnings, because, like the other 5D5D fics, it will end up being Sam/Dean. Hang in there!
Ok FINALLY got round to finishing this one. Man it's long but SO goood! You're such a talented writer even though a lot of your stuff i couldn't stand to read cause i get too confused by it. You REALLY should put some background info into it, especially for this fic. Like i said, i needed wikipedia open just to make sense of everything.
Anyway this is an awesome story, great plot though yeah, Sam is SO frustrating. I love all the voodou stuff in here and how the mythology goes into the story, a lot of wincest fic i read are more focused on the romance but i think this one balanced the romance and the mythology stuff really well even if you do need more background info in it. I know you can kinda get the feel for who's what in this as you read it but still, it's not clear enough and I wouldn't be able to get it without looking all the names up.
Thanks for the comment, darling! And for sticking with it even though you found it confusing. I suppose, a lot of the time, I write out the level of information in the fic that I think the fic needs, but I realise that's not for everyone. Also, with the 5D5D 'verse in general, not knowing anything, nothing being laid out, that's what Dean's going through, and this is a very tight POV -- the reader knows what Dean knows, nothing more and nothing less. Poor Dean!
Yeah i get that you were doing that and i understand that you're not supposed to know much cause it's Dean's POV, but at least Dean knew what a loa is and he knew of at least some of the loa I think. I never even heard of that or horses and such till your fic so Dean still knew more than me so for this reader, it's less. I dunno, maybe you guys know more about this stuff as general knowledge where you are or something?
