So...after these five fics are over, do we get one explaining why Dad is calling? I forget that happens Every. Single. Time.
I love the slow sweetness of them finally coming together.
Dean shivers, because he’s starting to realise that having Sam’s complete attention is an intense experience, would be terrifying if he wasn’t able to open himself to Sam and feel Sam’s happiness, Sam’s longing, Sam’s possessiveness.
“Mine,” Sam whispers into Dean’s ear, like it’s a secret no one else can know. “You’re mine, Dean. No one else’s, never again.”
I love that this is such a "meeting of the minds" (for lack of a less lame phrase) and that it's just...right. Destiny. I love this version of "healing" Sam and how it happened.
Wendy! Yay! You liked it! Thanks for all of the encouraging and squeeing and excitement -- this would be so much harder (even near impossible) without you and I appreciate that -- and you -- so, so much. *Hugs!*

Yes! That's the epilogue. I've started jotting down things for it and have about 200-300 words at the minute. Once I finish the fifth one, I'll buckle down and start sorting out the plans. Speaking of the fifth one, *sigh.* It's coming along. In some respects, it's going to be the coldest one (and after 'Otherside,' that's hard to imagine -- cold in a different way, I think. Arg. I don't even know.).
Ok, I don't have time to read this at the moment, but just wanted to stop by and do a general \o/ that it's done. And doesn't overlap with my twisty bunny. And is done! Last time, when I read one of these in parts, I thought I was going to die. And for the record, I really will die when you're done with this series.
For the record, you really won't. Trust me, I know these things. *Nods sagely* Also, thank you! And *squish!* And look! Both of our icons are looking slightly to the left!
I think this is my favorite one so far, though it's hard to choose. I love the dizzying quality of the whole thing, and omg, this Sam, feral and on the edge. It's so unbelievably sensual, just gets under your skin. And the OCs, love the OCs, how you play with these other mythologies and the easy slipslide of their language. The buildup is fantastic, and the payoff is blistering. And you know? This one just makes me so happy, with the allusions to Thrace, and the binding, and mine and yours and mine. They're so together, so right. Ah, coherency is so yesterday.
Coherency can be yesterday, I have no issue with that! *Cuddles* I'm geeked you got a chance to read this, I really am. Feral-hunter-Sam has grown on me so much it's almost sickening.
...the dizzying quality...
Part of that, for me, was putting in so many mythologies and legends! Usually I stick to one per fic, or one myth base, and this one, with so much drawn from what seemed like everywhere made my head spin.

I love the image of Sam as a *primal* sort of hunter, one who lives for the dance - the hunt - the kill.
Nice.
Good stuff! Yes, happy ending. Yay!

Very much so. I hadn't written one of these Sams before, so I had a lot of fun with it.

Feral and possesive Sam. And fairies.
Put side by side like that, it sounds really, really funny, doesn't it? So pleased you're enjoying the series!
