A Few Things of Note
+ After working 73 hours this past week, I slept twelve hours last night only to wake up to some more bad news this morning. Yesterday we found out that my uncle stopped breathing and was taken to the emergency room. No news as of yet how he's doing, but I'm at my aunt's house at the moment and in the middle of cooking for what could possibly be the biggest family gathering since Thanksgiving. My sister's got a stomach bug, so she's firmly ensconced at Gran's house with Mum. Dad's in Michigan at a funeral -- one of the guys in his old squadron. I was intending on going along with him, as our squadron was one big family, but with the news about my uncle, no dice. Any thoughts, prayers, good wishes, etc. would be greatly appreciated, but I just thought you might like to know what's going on in my life.
+ Speaking of work, I realised I never really said why I haven't been around the past week. As some of you know, I work at an accounting firm, PA'ing, office managing, secretarying, staff accounting for my boss. A week ago, we received a call from one of our clients that one of their officers had been embezzling and fixing the books to hide it. Needless to say, we were called in to figure out how much was taken, how it was taken, and to start getting things back on track. One of the local banks is involved in it, and I spent quite a few hours with several of the other officers at the lawyer's, helping them draft what are going to be a couple multi-million dollar lawsuits. Working at the client's office/warehouse/shop was mostly all right, if a little stressful, but I couldn't let my regular job slide either, so I was pretty much in charge of two offices at once. That's done now, as our client has hired their own person and I went in for seven hours yesterday to get him trained and tie up some loose ends.
+ In happier news, I have begun work on the fourth fic in the 5D5D series, which means that the first section of 'Blue Like Heaven' will be posted tonight. I have my laptop with me, so expect to see that go up whenever I get a chance, though probably not for a few hours yet.

+ I am ridiculously far behind in commenting and replying to emails. If I get the chance tonight, I will attempt to deal with that.
