ZOMG. I just reread Threefold Path to Redemption last night and when I saw this pop up on my flist I could not contain the squee. Baby, I cannot even begin to grasp the world that you have created here. I love it, I love how dark and dangerous and it is and how Sam and Dean remain at the centre of it. I really, really like the parts with Tamara and how Sam unwittingly called in her debt. And Ruby! I just honestly have no words. NO WORDS.

Aw, perfect timing then! (Random aside: I always cannot believe it when people say they go back and reread. Especially Threefold. Like, really? AWWWWWW! *tear, sniffle!*)

...dark and dangerous and it is and how Sam and Dean remain at the centre of it.

The way it should be!

I'm so glad you liked it, and thank you so much for the comment. *hugs*

Holy crap. I read Threefold Path not long ago and this is a phenomenal continuation of that story. Sam's powers are so raw and unknown, it will be amazing to see where this goes. I am intrigued by the shift that even Dean could feel . . . interesting and fascinating.

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad you thought this was worthy of the 'verse -- I always worry about that when it comes to writing sequels and timestamps.

*glomps you, sobbing with happiness*

I LOVE THIS 'VERSE. Like, SO MUCH. I love this Lilith and all the demons, and it's all so deliciously dark, and sexy, and DARK, and thinky, and now I'm incoherently giddy with glee. *flails*

I love how solid Sam and Dean are here - how Sam keeps choosing Dean, all the things the collar means, the possessiveness and connection between them, that Dean seems comfortable giving Sam both the pain he craves and the simpler physical affection he needs... but at the same time there's so much going on that I don't think bodes well for Dean. There's so much he doesn't understand about Sam and his position and demonic nature, some of it things Sam has kept from him and some stuff he just *can't* understand about what Sam went through, and it hurt to see him violated by demons, caught up in the incredibly complex dynamics between Sam and Lilith, Sam and Ruby, and the assorted underlings and at Sam's mercy, really; it seems to me that Sam has choices, has powers he can use, even if at the moment he's sticking to his intense feelings and loyalty to Lilith, and all Dean can do is hold onto Sam as hard as he can and hope Sam keeps the faith with him ( ... )

Thank you for the comment! (I adore long paragraphs, seeing as how I tend to write them myself. ♥)

...how Sam keeps choosing Dean...

That is SUCH a focus of this timestamp. Sam has all of these other wants -- Ruby, Lilith, to let go and just be what he is -- and yet he chooses Dean. And even if he feels stretched, Dean is his choice and that is, man, in this 'verse, that is HUGE.

But you're right: there's a lot of things going out that don't bode well for Dean. (After hashing out the future of the 'verse with cormallen for hours and hours, I might add, 'that don't bode well for Dean's complete humanity, but I think that brings spoilers to the table *g ( ... )
