A note: this might not be the twelfth issue of Scruffles, the Cancer Possum. I think it is. If it is not you will have another one numbered XII tomorrow. I apologize.
I don’t know if all of you have played Jason Rohrer’s incredible Passage yet, so I’m not going to talk at length about it for fear of ruining it for those who have yet to play it. If you have not, let me encourage you in the strongest terms to download it and try it. It only takes a few minutes to complete and will probably make you feel something, which is more than can be said for most experiences that only take a few minutes to complete. But-and this is essential-do not read Rohrer’s explanation of the game before playing it. Play it a few times, try to grok what it’s about, and then read his explanation. If I’m still as in love with it in a few days I’ll post my thoughts about it.
Thanks, all, for your kind words regarding Scruffles. In the immediate future he will be moving to a more permanent location with the more familiar web-comicky apparatus around it, both for my ease and yours. I will let you know when this movement happens.
