Dorama, Telenovela, Sinetron

Ne, ne, I only found out about 2 minutes ago that the boy in "News no Onna" was Hideaki Takizawa! Yea this is an exciting news (eeh, for me it is!) I used to watch that dorama in... was it TPI?
(*TPI is one of the earliest national tv channels in Indonesia.
And I watched it again when Indosiar aired it to fill a slot.
(*Indosiar is another national tv channel, it's a curious thing that we have so many national channels.

But Takki aside, I loved Suzuki Honami!! Haha, when I was three years old my uncle made fun of the fact that I regularly watched "Tokyo Love Story". It was in 1993, while the dorama was produced in 1991. Ah, talking about old tv shows, I think they were so much better than the shows we have these days. Let's see, hmm... "Oshin"!! Ahaha, it's a classic! "Tokyo Love Story", yeah. "Long Vacation", which was my first Kimutaku experience. Wait, so I watched Takki on tv before Kimutaku- something's very wrong here.

Telenovelas! "Rosalinda", Thalia was a big hit in Indonesia, and until today (in my head) all Mexican men are called Fernando Jose *rofl*! "Marimar". "Betty la fea", she was kinda cute with those braces and huge glasses. "Razos de Amor"! It was my favourite telenovela, I watched that when I was... 4 years old?

Now, what about the local shows? There was "Susan and Mbak Ria", where are they now? Hmm, oh yea "Tersanjung 1", "Tersanjung 2", "Tersanjing 3", and I don't know, did they make it to "Tersanjung 13" or something? Haha, I only watched the first two. The best of them all was "Wah Cantiknya...", hands down. It had an interesting plot-line, well rounded characterisations, it was a masterpiece. Oh yes, I also used to watch "Janjiku" with my nanny.

So what's on tv these days? I don't even watch it anymore. Now whenever I click on Indosiar, it's airing that "Super Mama" or "Mamma Mia" or whatever it's called, meh. Although "Akhirnya Datang Juga" is pretty entertaining. And... that's it? Also these days there are no more "Karma and Greg", "Just Shoot Me", "Friends", "Veronica's Closet"... the shows that used to be 17:00 RCTI.
*)Yep, you've guessed it, another national tv.

...I started this post only to state my excitement on finding that Takki was Honami Suzuki's step son, and it turned into this long ramble...
Oh yeah, I'm not into their music... (yet?), but I'm totally into Johnny's boys' looks. And their dances too. Haha, oh noe!!
