(no subject)
I'll start with Thursday, such a fine day! arsenfreya, diva_sama, Zh3y, Bernie, Brampu, Bowie (The B Trio?), Gori (who's known to some as ABe) (there's that B again?), Abel, and I gathered in my uncle's house to borrow his kitchen (which is way nicer than mine) and cook together. It started with Brampu's desire to learn to make tabouli or couscous or whatever's easy enough to make by himself, and he really liked my aunt's potato salad which she made for my farewell party a year and a half ago. Since it would be too quite if there were only the two of us (and we love noise, LOVE), we invited people, the more the merrier, but well it was New Year's day after all...
The menu was tabouli (made with couscous instead of bulghur) (a success for me and Brampu, although the others were somewhat reluctant to try), potato salad (very well done, nuff said), spaghetti carbonara (turned out a bit sweet, but thumbs up to arsenfreya and diva_sama who slaved for almost two hours to get it right), and spaghetti aglio e oleo (apparently it tastes better using wholewheat spaghetti).
Then later in the afternoon, arissafbrgs arrived and we played some games. Yes played. We were such nice kids, we took turn playing quietly and we didn't even laugh at each other *cough*liar!*cough*
Okay, we mad real some serious noise and somehow my nice uncle and aunty managed to nap through it all! First we played Guitar Hero, I fell asleep, and I was shaken out of it by the screaming! sheesh. They were playing Tekken 5. We guffawed at Christie's winning-pose (does she suffer from rheumatic?), at the tested fact that most celebrity with the name Jin are the cutests, at Marduk's name (don't ask...), and at the frogs! The poor frogs getting killed during the fight! Huahahah!
I was kinda sad when it ended. Boys and gals (plis don try dis, at hom, dis is beeerry, dangeras!) let's do it again sometime!
