Late for the week
LiveJournal's been broken lately. When I try to post, it won't let me
write anything in the post area place thing.
I had to "upgrade" my account to let it show me banner ads so I could
email my posts. Hopefully this actually works.
I took it pretty damned easy for the festival last week. I only went to
three shows that I wasn't in and only stayed for three of the parties
(leaving kind of early each time).
The second half of last week was pretty rough with a nice balance of
awesome things happening.
We had a decent show (that still managed to bum a lot of the troupe
out).
We bought a new (used) TV which I'm pretty pleased with considering the
price, but it ended up being too big for our entertainment center which
meant we had to buy a new TV stand. We also had to buy a new shelf to
match the stand and I had to spend all night (up till 3 AM) the night
before Julia's birthday putting it together. Luckily, I got it together
and we got the TV up onto it in time for the party that night.
There were two pretty big-ass goodbyes... hard, but necessary. I feel
good about one and sad that the other one didn't really even happen...
just turned into a vanishing, had to find out via text message while at
Julia's B-day party.
Julia's birthday seems to have gone well. I made her pancakes (from
scratch even) and bought her a big cast-iron enamel pot and we had a
party/sangria contest.
Total busy town going on right now... new sketch show, writing gig for
AFF, spot at funfunfun fest... all delicious things happening... gotta
climb up high to pick them apples, hope they aint got no worms.
