*sighs* Laptops...
Yup.
Laptop decided to act up again. *SIGH* How many freaking times has this happened with me?! SERIOUSLY.
So I'm sitting there on it and WHAM, the lights on my screen go out. I can still "see" my desktop but it has no brightness whatsoever. So I text my brother who's has two degrees in computers and ask him what's up with it and he said that it died, and that happens and I'll only be able to use it with a monitor attached.
At the moment, I don't really have the money to put out the $100 to fix the problem, since I don't have a job. But I figure, hey, I can work at a desk on it until I get a job and will have the money. It's not so much NOT having the money, as the money that I have is for money for college so...
Anyway. I go and grab a monitor and BLACK screen...WTH?! (H=Heck) So I figure the monitor is older, so I go out and see if I can see it on dad's monitor and NOTHING.
This causes me to #*#(@*!*@#!!!! Okay not out LOUD but still, I was NOT happy.
So end of story, computer isn't working. I have all my half done fics and all of that on there. I have 18 of 20 20in20 icons done for gate_eps...annnnd I have no clue what's wrong with it and my brother won't have a chance to look at it until at least monday.
*HUGE SIGH*
So not gonna be around much but will try to keep comms updated and will have the Rules and Info for the newest rounds for the 20in20's out tomorrow night.
*crosses fingers that laptop can still work*
EDIT- Bro looked at it remotely but it'll cost $100 to fix. :( BUT he got the monitor running, YAY!!! :D
