Okay tromapalooza was alright, but not as fun as expected. I met some cool people and got a cool troma tshirt without having to be in the bloody t-shirt contest. plus i get to be on the 20th anniversary toxic avenger documentary talking about tromapalooza, tromadance, and the first time i saw toxic avenger.
today at the convention was alot more fun. lloyd kaufman is the coolest motherfucker. he introduced me to a bunch of filmmakers, mentioned my name about a million times in every interview, and made sure i was on camera as much as possible whenever we were being filmed for anything. plus he hooked me up with
sgt. kabukiman,
story of a junkie,
the stendhal syndrome,
nuke-em high,
the new terror-firmer double disc,
troma's war,
2 copies of tromeo and juliet.(one is for pj, signed by lloyd and debbie rochon, but shhh, he doesn't know that)
a signed julia strain (tromette superstar, best known for tales from the crapper)poster-also for pj
plus a bunch of other stuff. i got to hang out with one of THE original tromettes all day-Debbie Rochon, who also kicks some serious ass. I handed out my headshot and resume to a bunch of local filmmakers, and i get to be tromette of the month and a link to my website from the troma website once i send in all my info and pictures and stuff. badass.
everybody should come out to the conference tomorrow. the chiller cinema winners are being shown at 2 pm. ahem. cough cough.
oh, and watch chiller cinema tonight and tomorrow on upn 30 (i think) at 1:30 am for an interview with me and lloyd and toxie, and possibly the short horror film i was in.
wow, is this whole entry self-promotion? That's too bad.
I KICK ASS!!!!!!
