Auditions hadn't gone too late, so it wasn't even nine yet when Kenzi and company piled back on the bus to Fandom.

The audition? Totally a slam dunk.

"Soloist! Eeeeeeeeeeee!"

"That just means they recognize how great you are!" Cecil said. "Of course," he added with a grin, "your excellent cheering section helped, I'm sure." He included everyone in his smile.

"Most definitely!" Kenzi threw an arm around his shoulders. Careful of the tentacles. "Thank you guys so much for coming along. I swear it really helped to feel the happy vibes from the audience, I swear."

"Happy vibes are always great!" Cecil hugged her back. "I think ♥Carlos♥ is investigating them, but I just know they work. Although that audition was definitely at least 99 percent pure talent! Well, maybe 98," he teased.

Kenzi blew a raspberry at him, then grinned, relaxing. "Solo, solo, solo...! God, I didn't expect that. I was just going to be happy to get in, but *this*." She drummed her feet on the floor in a dance step. "Caaarlosss and you get free tickets. So I can get more happy vibes when I perform!"

"Yay! We'll go to every single one," Cecil promised. "And bring Amelia whenever she can come, if Sparkle can't."

Kenzi sighed with happiness, then bit her lip. "This isn't going to change, right? No matter what? No matter how weird the island gets?"

"Of course not!" Cecil hugged her again. "As long as you're in it, I'll go! And I'll bring ♥Carlos♥ whenever he can make it." He shrugged. "If the island gets weird and I forget, you might have to remind me, though. But I'll still go; I'll just be excited for you all over again!"
