King of Your Own Little World
My daily browsing of the BBC brought me to an article about a British family that ruled a small chain of islands as kings for 150 years. How many people have dreamt of moving to a tropical paradise and establishing their own tiny society? I think it is part of what compels me to write. I know I cannot do such a thing in the real world so I create my own worlds where I am lord and master. My characters dance in time to the tune I set and are subject to my smallest whim.
