❀Personality:

The first thing you notice about Lily is her radiant smile. It goes well with her personality - childish, not a single day older than ten mentally, in which she dances along in a world of rainbows and sunshine and pretty unicorns and her master Glen. She doesn’t seem to have a care in the world, saying things arbitrarily and without consequence, not even thinking of other’s reactions and feelings as she simply spills what’s on her mind.

She is a blunt and honest child. There is not a single deceiving bone in her body - rather, she is fully true to herself and is rather proud of that. While she grew up believing that she should have never been born - that she was only a liability to her family and was better off dead - her time with the Baskervilles changed that, to the point in which she takes pride in who she is and her role by Glen’s side. She’s the kind of character that treasures her family above all else, and has a childish but stubborn resolve to protect them and carry out their wishes at all cost. She’s rather single-tracked minded when it comes to that, just like how a child is.

She carries no pretenses, and doesn’t expect for others to carry them either. Rather, she takes absolutely everything at face value, in the way that she knows that there are masks upon everyone’s faces, but in which she can care no less. She gets along with others well, is easily excitable and is constantly looking for new friendships and fun activities, but if Glen were to order for their execution, she would do so with a smile on her face. It’s clear in her mind that the hierarchy of relationships goes Glen > Baskervilles > Everyone else, though those contracted with Chains rank higher than those who do not, simply because those who are contracted can offer Bandersnatch a playmate.

It’s not to say that Lily is stupid. It’s just to say that she isn’t very bright. But her heart is generally in the right place (left of her chest and whatnot) and she does have the manners to match her dresses, but all in all, she is but a young girl who wants to make friends.

There is a ruthless side to her, but you certainly wouldn’t like to meet it. After all, it’s best to think of her as nothing more than a harmless little girl, and that’s all, isn’t it?

It’s just to say that she kills with a smile.

❀Canon:

► She spent about a hundred years in the Abyss, the Pandora Hearts version of pseudo-hell in a handbasket, and came out sobbing her eyes out.

► Killing is a joy for her, and so is torture. She is shown to be extremely enthusiastic in slashing Reim to bits, and is apparently not remorseful for the death of Reim's colleagues.

► She is not very bright. Generally, she can get the gist of the situation, but has trouble digging any deeper, and understanding more complicated concepts.

► Judging from the amount of time she spends on people's heads, she enjoys climbing up people's backs and getting piggy-back rides.

► A summary page shows that neither she nor Fang can draw, and they are both amazingly proud of it.

► She feels connected with people who have been called 'useless' or 'powerless', simply because she was called that before. In fact, she grew up believing that she was better off dead. Even now, she hasn't quite let go of that philosophy.

► She loves playing with people dearly. Especially when Bandersnatch is involved, and when Bandersnatch is involved, blood generally is as well.

► Bad things happen when she is around. As Lottie once put it, the Baskervilles have a tendency to warp the reality around them. Only another Baskerville is immune to this. Thus, it's assumed that tragedies happen wherever she goes.

► Reim is able to pick up on the fact that she is a very lonely child from their very first (and possibly last) meeting. She desires friends greatly, and would do anything to acquire friendship. She gets jealous of people who have a friend, and will demand to be their friend as well.

► She can survive a shot to the head and walk around just fine a few seconds after. It's implied that she is immortal, and that all the Baskervilles are.

► The girl took part in the Tragedy of Sablier, and is outwardly remorseless over it. She states that if Master Glen were to order the same thing, she would do it all over again without hesitation.

► The tattoo on the left side of her face is considered the mark of a devil. She's not particularly self-conscious about it.

❀Bandersnatch:

► He doesn't have much of a personality of his own. Of what personality we can see from him, he is generally hungry and constantly scavenging for food, whether the food is alive or not, and whether or not Lily has ordered it.

► He obeys Lily's every order, and has very quick reflexes.

► Can be so fast that the human eye cannot follow.

► Tends to mimic Lily's mood. Whatever Lily's feeling at the time, he tends to project it. If Lily is unhappy, he would growl. If Lily is sad, he'd sulk. If Lily is happy and derpy, he will be derpy as well.

► He is very protective of Lily, but will not attack those that she has deemed 'friend' unless she orders it.

► His fur is very, very soft, and he has a dry tongue.

► His legs have a tendency to appear and disappear whenever he feels like it. However, he doesn't necessarily need legs to be able to run and catch up with someone and bite them to death.

❀Headcanon:

► Big words elude her. Having never had proper schooling or any semblance of a tutor, she generally has trouble with the words that are more than three syllables long. She can read and comprehend basic words just fine, albeit slowly. However, her writing is atrocious, not because she's never had any school -- though proper schooling is debatable -- but simply because she isn't a very diligent student.

► She can cook and clean very well, surprisingly enough. Having lived at Glen Baskerville's mansion and being an energetic girl with a sweet tooth, she would often be caught by the kitchen staff trying to filch the aforementioned sweets. Her punishment would be usually to help out in the kitchens, do the laundry with the maids, or any other number of small and generally mundane tasks. Over the years, she's gotten very good at what she does, because say what you will about Lily, but she's not very subtle.

► When she says 'play', she genuinely wants to play. Besides killing or bloody games of hide-and-seek, she enjoys doing mundane things as well, like Cat's Cradle, or King of the Hill. She hung around Jack Vessalius a lot in the past, so she also has a certain fondness for climbing trees.

► She can't swim, and she's always been fearful of the water. Chances are, if you push her into a pond, she'll drown.

► She and Bandersnatch are connected emotionally, in which her emotions are projected onto Bandersnatch and exhibited in doggy format whenever they become strong enough. She's also able to send Bandersnatch to find people based on face or smell. And Bandersnatch is very, very good at finding people.

► During the Tragedy of Sablier, when Glen Baskerville angrily ordered for his followers to slaughter everyone in sight, Lily merely smiled, turned to Lottie, and said, "Hey, let me go find my friends, okay? I'll kill them with my own hands." She then proceeded to systematically hunt down each and every one of her friends, and dealt the finishing blows herself. She had to kill a lot of people. Only hours later, after the city sank into the Abyss, did she allow herself the liberty of crying. This is why she cherishes her friends so much.

► Because of the above, she is both hopeful and hesitant about Glen's arrival in Siren's Pull, if he ever comes. For one thing, she loves Master Glen like nothing else, and will follow him to the ends of the earth. However, she enjoys the freedom from her original world and the fact that she can make as many friends as she wants to, and she is afraid that if Glen arrives, he might order her to kill all her friends. She knows that she will not hesitate to do so, but in reality, she wishes above all else to protect her friends the way she couldn't do so before. It makes her cry at night.

► She wants to make a hundred friends, because she knows that people who she call 'friends' may or may not be simply patronizing her. She's come to accept that. Rather, she figures that if she makes a hundred friends, then there has to be one or two true friends within that hundred. She thinks that she will be happy so long as she has one friend that won't want to kill her in the end.

► Lily really does want to be friends with Reim. But getting shot in the head sure dampens things.

► She seems to have a very simplistic thought process, and tends to have very silly ideas. However, she can be very insightful at times. It's said that a child's eyes sees clarity better than anyone else.

► She is incredibly afraid of betrayal. She considers anger a form of betrayal, and honestly doesn't know what do when someone is angry at her. Thus, she tends to lash out violently, and that never helps things. Generally, her solution to people getting angry at her is to feed them to Bandersnatch. She always feels terrible about it, though.
