Another week has come and gone at the Anchorhold. Tonight Ron and I will be off to do some swimming. Things are getting picked up and accomplished at a snail's pace, but there is progress. I'm thinking of doing some serious downsizing (eliminating duplicates, etc.)of some of my book collection, so if anyone would like to help, please let me know. We'll figure something out.
Meanwhile, I've been at work on my various projects; The Christmas Stockings are well started, Hannah's annual hat is half done. While knitting classes have come to a close, I'm going to keep working on the wonderful modular cardigan. A scarf is coming along on the monster afghan hook and the shawls continue to grow and thrive. One of these days I'll have to see to re-arranging the yarn closet, but that's a project for another day.
Halloween was spent at Rogue and Bodan's where we entertained ourselves viewing the esoteric but amusing "Bubba Ho-Tep." There weren't many trick-or-treaters, so we left our candy at their place so we wouldn't be *forced* to eat it ourselves. We also consumed some really tasty blackberry wine from Holy Field winery. It also helped me sleep soundly! And they say that this stuff is actually good for you?
November is here and I'm enjoying the cooler days even if the sun sets far too early for my liking. The wheel of the year is turning to its contemplative side. Guess I'll get more contemplative after election day has passed.
Until that time though, "FOLKS!! GO VOTE!"
