Grumble, grumble hot weather --
Sunday was unusual -- I work up dog tired and sick. But since I couldn't reach anyone of the usual folks at work, I went in to get the office open and things under way. Around 9:30 my boss came in and told me to go home and that I looked like hell. I'll took it for the compliment it was and scurried home to bed. Slept about seven hours straight and woke up feeling better but still aching. I'm hoping that this is just a transitory bug. I have stuff to do!!
Is it MS doing a summer assault? Don't know, but I'm keeping a low profile, staying cool and de-stressed. This may mean that I move downstairs for a couple days to make sure that I stay well. That's okay -- I can certainly keep myself amused and occupied.
The weekend wasn't a total waste of time. One full day of work and several hours of playing City of Heroes/Villains on Double Experience Points days. I'm proud to say that my first toon "That John Davis" made level 50. A couple of others did some serious leveling as well. red_ronin9 and I had a fine time playing while I was feeling less puny . . .
