This weather is aggravating. Back in my home, I likely had little reason to spend time out in the winter and my living quarters were far more comfortable than this, to say the least. The temperature is also so much colder in the morning when I have to get to the school

It isn't much, but I found something in the library. Apparently it started as a religious holiday, celebrating the birth of their god. Or the son of god. It got a bit confusing.

Where the exchange of gifts came in is beyond me.

Perhaps I will simply consider it as a day of respect towards her rather than another God.
